Promoting Palestinian Rights For Valentine’s Day

Today is Valentine’s Day! Whether you choose to celebrate it by caving to mass marketing of consumer products, sharing hilarious anti V-day cards on Facebook, or just enjoying a day that celebrates chocolate, nearly all of us mark the occasion in one way or another. But how can you celebrate Valentine’s Day, or any day for that matter, when you live under a system that is constantly separating you from them? That’s the subject of the Love Under Apartheid project helmed by Palestinian-American graduate student Tania Keilani which has quickly gained a following since its debut on February 13th 3:30pm EST (that’s less than twelve hours before the publishing of this article!).

Why is Alan Dershowitz still talking?

I am constantly perplexed by Alan Dershowitz’s ability to maintain his respectable status in spite of his extensive record of intellectual dishonesty. Despite his history, he’s still being published in major outlets, joining the drumbeat for an attack on Iran, and is taken seriously as the “go-to” guy for so-called “pro-Israel” groups seeking to counter the growing BDS movement. Is he really so brilliant that no one has caught on to his fraudulent “scholarship” yet?

We’ve teamed up with Tomorrow’s Youth Organization to curate the works of young Palestinian boys and girls participating in the Triple Exposure program into a thematic collection. We will debut each exhibit on the first Tuesday of every month and follow up with news from the program and profiles of the photographers you want to hear from the most.
