About the Palestine Note
The Palestine Note is not only a news and opinion site. It aims to create a forum for the engaged, informed discussion of vital cultural, economic, social and political issues facing Palestine and the Palestinian community.
Based in Washington, DC,the Palestine Note offers different perspectives into all things Palestine - daily updates of aggregated news and human interest stories and blog commentary. More than feeds of news and commentary, the Palestine Note seeks to become a meeting place in the blogosphere for those who want to share thoughts and concerns about the future of Palestine. Our goal is to present pluralistic, diverse views of one of the world's most heavily reported regions.
To maintain a civil, intelligent conversation and build a community based on mutual respect at the Palestine Note, readers must register to submit comments. All comments are moderated, with editors reserving the right not to publish for any reason.
The editors of the Palestine Note are always looking for interesting, original new content - written, or in the form of video, or thoughts on programs and perspectives that would be constructive for building the kind of work and thought community described above. To submit your stories, videos and photos for consideration and possible publication, submit them as attachments to editor@palestinenote.com.
Similarly, if you are interested in becoming one of our regular bloggers, please send a sample of your writing and a CV for consideration to editor@palestinenote.com.
The Palestine Note was founded by Hani Masri and A. Huda Farouki, Americans of Palestinian origin.
